Diwali festival is one of the most famous religious festivals amongst Hindus, and its annual celebration in all over the world is also the continuation of India deep-rooted and time-honoured tradition.

Throughout India, and in Indian communities, people wear new clothes, visit friends and family, and exchange sweets and gifts. Houses are cleaned and decorated with colourful rangoli artworks – patterns created on the floor using coloured rice or powder.
